OUR EXECUTIVE PASTOR

 

Elder Jaimi B. Russell is the daughter Pastor Waverly and Lady Ann Brown, Sr. She was born and raised in Chase City, Virginia. After growing up in Mecklenburg County, Virginia, Pastor Jaimi attended Old Dominion University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Information Systems. She has worked in several industries in her computer training and analyst careers.

 

     On December 17, 1999, she was licensed to preach at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Norfolk, Virginia under the leadership of Bishop Clarence V. Russell, Jr.   and later ordained as an elder on May 31, 2002. 

 

     As a part of her assignment in ministry, she serves the community. She has worked with the Western Tidewater Free Clinic during its initial phases of fundraising. She currently is the Vice President of the Suffolk Breast Cancer Society, Inc.  Elder Russell reaches women and children of all ages through community service, ministry and just serving in the Kingdom.  She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.  Currently, she works for the Richland County Recreation Commission in Columbia, South Carolina.  She is the Public Information Officer for this agency which serves over 411,000 citizens within 732 square miles.  She also volunteers with her children’s extra curricular activities.  She has worked diligently alongside her husband of 17 years. She has been faithful to her call to ministry and works diligently to uphold the ministry of Jesus Christ with excellence and integrity. The is the mother of four children: Clarence IV, Caitlyn, Casey and Caleb.
